1. Overview

By booking a photography session with Connections Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


These terms are designed to ensure a clear, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all clients, reflecting our values of authenticity, artistry, and integrity.


2. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable session fee or retainer is required to confirm your booking.


The remaining balance is payable before or on the day of your session unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Payment may be made via Pixieset Pay, PayPal, or direct bank transfer.


Your booking is not secured until the retainer has been received and confirmation is issued.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is given.


Cancellations or no-shows forfeit the retainer.
In the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, outdoor sessions will be rescheduled at no additional cost.


Should illness or an emergency prevent us from completing your session, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

4. Image Delivery

Edited images are delivered through a secure Pixieset online gallery within the estimated timeframe discussed at booking.


Galleries remain active for a minimum of 30 days from the delivery date.


Clients are responsible for downloading and safely backing up their images once delivered.


Additional backup copies or re-delivery after gallery expiry may incur an administration fee.

5. Copyright & Usage Rights

All photographs remain the copyright of Raymond Mather / Connections Photography.


Clients receive a non-exclusive, personal licence to print and share their images for personal use.


Commercial, promotional, or third-party use (including publication, advertising, or competitions) requires written permission and may incur licensing fees.


Alteration, resale, or application of third-party filters without consent is not permitted.

6. Model Release & Promotion

Images may be used by Connections Photography for portfolio, website, or social media purposes only with your written consent.


We fully respect your privacy and will never publish or share identifiable images without approval.


You may withdraw consent for future promotional use at any time by written request.

7. Refunds & Service Guarantee

Photography is a creative, custom service. For this reason, session fees are non-refundable once the session has occurred.


In the rare case of technical failure, equipment malfunction, or unforeseen event preventing delivery of images, liability is limited to a reshoot or full refund of the session fee.


We are committed to providing high-quality images consistent with our portfolio and brand standards.

8. Liability & Safety

Every care is taken to ensure your comfort and safety during the photography session.


Clients accept full responsibility for themselves and any participating family members, guests, or pets during the session.


Connections Photography is not liable for injury, loss, or damage sustained at or near the session location.


Please advise in advance of any special requirements, accessibility needs, or potential hazards.

9. Privacy & Data Handling

We respect your privacy and protect all personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).


Session details and images are stored securely on password-protected systems and encrypted servers.


Online galleries are hosted by Pixieset, which complies with international privacy and data protection standards.
